Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how cancellations, changes, and refunds are handled for travel services arranged by Begovo. Because Begovo coordinates services delivered by independent third-party travel suppliers, supplier terms govern most refunds.

1. Supplier-Led Refunds (Core Rule)

Airlines, hotels, tour operators, cruise lines, and other suppliers set their own cancellation and refund policies. Many travel components are non-refundable or subject to penalties. Begovo does not control supplier refund decisions.

2. Deposits & Service Fees

Deposits may be non-refundable depending on the supplier and product. Begovo planning, consultation, or service fees, if applicable, are generally non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing.

3. Refund Timing

Refunds, where applicable, are processed only after the relevant supplier releases funds. Processing times vary by supplier and payment method.

4. Changes & Amendments

Change requests are subject to availability. Fare differences, supplier penalties, and third-party fees may apply. Begovo will communicate additional costs before confirmation where possible.

5. Traveller-Initiated Cancellations

Cancellation requests must be made in writing. Penalties depend on supplier policies at the time of booking and may be up to 100% close to departure.

6. Unforeseen Events & Force Majeure

In cases of natural disasters, pandemics, government travel restrictions, civil unrest, or supplier insolvency, refunds or credits are subject solely to supplier policies.

7. Sanctions & Legal Restrictions

If a booking is cancelled due to U.S. sanctions compliance or legal restrictions, refunds are limited to what suppliers and payment providers permit.

8. No-Shows

Failure to appear for a booked service ("no-show") typically results in no refund.

9. Travel Insurance

Begovo strongly recommends comprehensive travel insurance to protect against cancellation, medical emergencies, and unexpected disruptions.
